Progress - Seizure Safe Schools Legislation in New Hampshire
An incredible day for epilepsy advocacy at the State House!
We’re incredibly proud of Senator Timothy P. Lang, advocates Dorothy and Mary Crowell, and Parker Hadd, who shared powerful testimony alongside his mom, Krystle, helping bring this legislation to life. Their voices made it clear why seizure-safe policies in schools are so important.
If passed, this bill would ensure schools are better prepared to recognize seizures, respond with proper first aid, administer rescue medication when needed, and support students through individualized Seizure Action Plans—all critical steps toward safer learning environments for students with epilepsy and seizure disorders.
