Shark-tank Competition Winner - Smart Mattress
Jong Woo Lee, MD and Andres Rodriguez (Soterya) created a medical-grade smart-mattress device known as Chorus to reposition individuals and stimulate them post-seizure to prevent Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP).
EPIDIOLEX - the first and only FDA‑approved prescription cannabidiol (CBD)
Epilepsy Foundation New England's research funding lead to the development of Epidiolex. Approved to treat seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS), Dravet syndrome, or tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) in patients 1 year of age and older.
