We are so excited to see everyone at the Boston Walk on June 1, 2025! Once again, we will be hosting the event at Fenway Park!
We understand it can be difficult to navigate all of the different aspects around an event at Fenway, so we created this FAQ to help. If you have any other questions not answered here, please reach out to ksullivan@epilepsynewengland.org.

Where should I park?
Parking of all types are extremely limited around Fenway Park. A limited amount of handicap parking is available at the following locations on a first come, first serve basis:
-Jersey Street between Van Ness Street and Boylston Street near Gate D
-Ipswich Street near Gate B
-Overland Street next to Brookline Ave near Gate A
What Time is the Walk?
Gate E opens at 10:00AM
Walk Starts 12:15PM (about 2 miles in length)
Followed by lunch at Fenway
Event will wrap up around 2:30pm
Will there be security?
Yes - there will be security to enter the park similar to a game or show happening at the stadium.
Will there be food and beverage?
Yes! Fenway will be opening up concession stands for food and drinks. Your registration to the event includes a $10 food credit. You are also able to purchase more beyond your voucher.
The food credit is used through a wrist band that will be in your swag bag.
How does my food credit work?
Each member that has registered will receive a wristband in their swag bag.
After returning from the walk, make sure to be wearing your wristband as you enter the food line.
When choosing your food, staff will take your wristband.
Other concession stands will be open for puchasing more food as well.
Can I bring in food and drinks?
Food will only be allowed into the ballpark when medically required due to dietary restrictions. If you or a family member needs this, you must let us know ahead of time so we can advise the security team. Please reach out to ksullivan@epilepsynewengland.org if you need to bring food to the ballpark.
Bottles of water will be allowed, but coolers will not.
There will be vendors open in the park selling food and drink, and all registrations come with a voucher for concession stand use.
What is the Boston Walk Passport
The passport is a fun activity to do during the times before and after the walk. Following the instructions inside the passport to receive stamps around the park. If you get every stamp in the book, you can turn in your passport for the chance to win a cool prize!
Passports are due to be turned in by 1:30 and the drawing will take place at 2:00pm.
Do I have to walk with my team?
No - you may complete the walk with anyone you choose!
How long is the Walk?
The walk will leave the stadium and follow a loop approximately 2 miles long before ending back at the stadium. Once back, attendees will get to have lunch in the stands.
Do I have to join a team?
While joining a team helps create a sense of community and friendly competition, you absolutely do not have to be on a team to register! Anyone is welcome at this event, and we will be happy to welcome you to the EFNE Community!

Saturday, June 1st, 2025.
Gate E opens at 10:30AM

How much do I have to fundraise?
When you register for the event you will create a peer-to-peer fundraising page that will automatically create a fundraising goal. While fundraising is encouraged, you are absolutely not required to raise a certain amount!
What else will be happening at the walk?
We will be having a lot fun activities happening throughout the day! Aside from the walk, inside the stadium we will have:

-EFNE Merchandise Store
-Games and Activities!
Do we walk on the field?
The walk will include navigating through parts of the stadium, leaving Fenway to walk through a portion of the city, and re-entering Fenway (including going through security) to end the walk. We will not be able to go on the actual field.
