Nazeeh Kleib, July 2021
Nazeeh Kleib is a devoted and caring young man from Niha, Lebanon, who is the official commissioner for Lana International Volunteering. He has overcome many challenges in his life to deal with his epilepsy, but now is a powerful role model for how to live life in a full and healthy way, no matter the obstacle. He does not let his epilepsy hold him back.
There is a seven hour time difference between the US and Lebanon, but that does not stop Nazeeh. He wakes up at 3:00 AM every Tuesday to volunteer at EFNE's Young Men's SHARE group. He brings his experience with epilepsy to the table and is consistently a warm and engaging presence for the young men who come to the group. We are so grateful to Nazeeh for his efforts to make EFNE an inspiring and bright place for the epilepsy community to embrace.
“Nazeeh is a very motivated and passionate individual. Even with an 11 hour time difference Nazeeh still goes to groups on the East Coast. Nazeeh is most passionate about advocacy and spreading awareness of Epilepsy. I greatly thank Nazeeh for his long hours of work of in the Men’s group and waking up in the Middle of the night to help.” – Tim Bailey NH Resource Coordinator, AmeriCorps member.
