WALK GUIDELINES
You are responsible for walking on your own. We encourage a safe, open, socially-distanced location. Epilepsy Foundation New England will have PICK-UP LOCATIONS across Massachusetts. Simply drive up at your designated time and pick up your walk materials and swag bag!
Each step we take is one step closer to Making Epilepsy History! This year we spread out over 6 locations across Massachusetts. Our locations are strategically placed as pick-up locations across the Bay State. On May 1st, you will visit your location and pick up your walk goodies including your walk shirt in drive-thru style! Then you are free to walk at a nearby park on your own!
The epilepsy community in New England is stronger than ever. With your help, our reach and offerings has incredibly expanded. We are committed to our mission of improving the lives of all those living with epilepsy in New England.
Frequently Asked Questions
The time slot I want to sign up for has already filled up, why's that?
To help control participant numbers at each time slot and eliminate large gatherings to comply with MA COVID-19 guidelines, we have limited the number of registrations for each time slot.
What happens on May 1st?
On May 1st you will arrive at your designated location and drive towards the purple balloons. Please stay in your car and we'll check you in and hand you your walk shirts and sweatshirts! Then you're on your way to walk on your own!
Why is this event a drive through?
Epilepsy Foundation New England cares deeply about those we serve and their families. We want to make this as safe of an event as we possibly can while abiding by local guidelines on outdoor gatherings. That is why we are hosting this event as a drive through - to keep everyone as safe as possible and increase ways to socially distance from each other. All volunteers will be wearing masks and frequently using hand sanitizer.
