Marc Firenze is currently a member of the computer science faculty at Bentley University and he has also taught math at Chapel Hill - Chauncy Hall school. Before his teaching career, Marc spent 25 years in financial service technology working for BNY Mellon, Eagle Investment Systems, and State Street where he managed the design, development, delivery, engineering, and enterprise architecture of middle and back office systems.

Marc earned a BA in mathematics and economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MBA from Northeastern University, and an MEd from Lesley University. 

Marc and his wife Libby have been involved with EFNE since 2006 having served on the boards of both the Foundation and the Donation Center. Their son MJ died of SUDEP in 2009 and are deeply committed to supporting the mission of the Foundation, serving people with epilepsy and their families, and supporting efforts to find cures as one small way to remember their beloved son.
