My name is Nic Slager; I am a Community Health Worker and AmeriCorps Member serving with the Epilepsy Foundation of New England and as an Epilepsy Resource Room Coordinator for Boston Medical Center. I just completed my bachelor's degree in religion from the University of Vermont, and I plan on attending graduate school after serving at EFNE and BMC. I serve because I have a chronic illness, and I am passionate about increasing the quality of life of those who have chronic illnesses and disabilities.
