Serving as an AmeriCorps member at Epilepsy Foundation New England has helped me connect and give back by providing support, guidance, motivation, and education to people with epilepsy that experience similar challenges. Also, it has given me the opportunity to be aware of the different needs in society and how important it is to have empathy and to have passion to help others and meet their needs. I can give back to others by being that person that listens and cares.
