Seizure Safe Schools Hearing scheduled for July 21

BIG NEWS – the Seizure Safe Schools hearing will be heard before the Joint Committee on Education on Monday, July 21st from 11-5pm in the Gardner Auditorium. There are options to testify in-person, virtually, and by submitting written testimony. Please note that all in-person and virtual testimony must be under two minutes.

Testifying virtually

Those wishing to testify virtually can sign up at this link  and must do so by 12:00 p.m. on  Friday, July 18th, 2025.

Testifying in-person

EFNE will be putting together two panels for in-person testimony. If you are interested in being on a panel, please contact Kristen (@email) ASAP (and before you register!).

Those wishing to testify in person may register in person at the time of the hearing but are encouraged to register ahead of time using this link .

Submitting written testimony

Please submit written testimony to Fiona Bruce-Baiden at @email and Emily Reynolds at @email, and cc Kristen and Bill (@email and @email). The Chairs request that those submitting written testimony include “EDUCATION COMMITTEE TESTIMONY” and the bill number IN THE SUBJECT LINE, and provide the committee with your name, organization, and phone number. The Committee will accept written testimony until July 28th, 2025.
