Epilepsy Foundation New England Announces New Location for 2026 Boston Walk For Epilepsy

Registration Open Now at BostonWalk.org

(Boston) New England’s largest event supporting epilepsy is getting even bigger at a new location in Boston. Epilepsy Foundation New England’s (EFNE) annual Boston Walk for Epilepsy is moving to Artesani Park in Brighton. The walk draws thousands of participants from all across New England to raise funds to support the one in 26 people across New England who will develop epilepsy in their lifetime. This year, organizers are introducing a 5K option for those seeking a more challenging experience during the event. The event will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Registration is now open at BostonWalk.org.

“The new location will allow us to welcome even more families as we come together to improve the lives of the more than 100,000 people across New England living with epilepsy,” said David Searles, Epilepsy Foundation New England’s Vice President for Development & Communications.

On the day of the walk, participants will be joined by EFNE’s loveable mascot Hope Lion, for a short run or walk through the park. Participants are encouraged to bring blankets and a lunch for a one-of-a-kind picnic as the EFNE community celebrates another successful event. The walk helps to fund much-needed support groups, scholarships, camps, financial aid, seizure first-aid training, educational webinars, research grants, and more.

Registration for the walk and 5K begins at $10 and will incrementally increase closer to the event. There is no minimum fundraising level to participate.

Registration is open now at BostonWalk.org for the 2026 Boston Walk for Epilepsy at Artesani Park (1255 Soldiers Field Rd, Boston, 02135) on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
