Seizure Training for School Nurses: Caring for Students
This 3-hour training course aims to equip the school nurse with knowledge, strategies, and resources to better manage students with seizures. It supports positive treatment outcomes, maximizes educational and developmental opportunities, and promotes a safe, supportive environment. The program includes seven modules to help the school nurse effectively handle seizures in a school setting. This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., which is recognized as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. It has been assigned the approval code CHI: 1123, with an accreditation period from 03/31/2024 to 03/30/2026. A total of 2.75 nursing contact hours are awarded for this educational activity.
