Kate Bailey
Director, Community Health Worker Certificate Program
From her earliest memories, Katy always knew she wanted to be a teacher. She attended St. Michael’s College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Education and a Teaching Certification for Elementary and Middle School. She taught in the classroom for over two decades. During her tenure as a teacher, Katy created a community garden, served as a technology and science curriculum coordinator and initiated the winter sports programs. Over the course of her career, she has continued to work for non-profit organizations in order to serve the community and improve accessibility in the rural areas of New Hampshire. In her free-time Katy likes to enjoy the outdoor activities in Mount Washington Valley and to spend time with her family and her two rescue dogs.
