Lisa Nagel
Lisa Nagel has been serving the non-profit world for over 30 years. Her greatest accomplishments have been while serving in leadership positions for both the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore (JCCNS) and Temple Emanu-El of Marblehead, MA.
Lisa volunteered at the JCCNS as Chair of the Membership Committee and the Early Childhood Committee before becoming a Board member in 2005. She served as a JCCNS Board member from 2005-2012, overseeing several committees and working her way up through the Executive Committee to serve as President from 2010-2012.
Lisa began volunteering at Temple Emanu-El in 2015, serving on the Executive Director Search Committee, a Capital Campaign Committee, and helping in the Religious School. She was elected to the Board that same year and, once again, worked her way up through the Executive Committee to serve as President from 2020-2022.
Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Bucknell University and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Fairfield University. Lisa and her husband, Dave, live in Marblehead, MA. They have three grown children: Jacob, Ben, and Lilah, and a dog named Kylie.
One year ago, Lisa’s husband, Dave, experienced his first seizures at the age of 55. We were immediately connected to the Epilepsy Foundation New England for support, education, and resources. EFNE has been a lifesaver for our family.
