Taste Of Camp For Children With Epilepsy

Have a camper looking for their first taste of the camp experience? Join us at Camp Frank A. Day in East Brookfield, MA for a 2-day/1-night camp for children and teens with epilepsy! Campers will enjoy a wide range of classic camp activities, while being expected to perform all activities of daily living independently, including tasks like eating, bathing, dressing, and basic hygiene.

All camper applications are submitted to a medical committee to review a camper’s fit for the health, safety, and programming goals and parameters for each camp. Camp is staffed 24 hours a day by a nurse, camp counselors, and Epilepsy Foundation New England staff who have training in seizure recognition and seizure first-aid as well as in working with children with epilepsy who have diverse needs. Neurologists volunteer their time during the day and are on call at night.
